How To Do Knee Raises
Knee raises are a great way to tone several areas of the body. If you do them correctly, you can sculpt the abdominal muscles, thighs, and back muscles. It is an easy way to exercise if you have a time constraints. Also they can be done, standing or sitting. So, If you are physically impaired, this could be a wonderful exercise for you.
- Make sure you are wearing comfortable and stable footwear, preferably sneakers.
- Stand or sit up very straight.
- Engage your abdomen, especially the lower abdomen.
- Slowly raise one knee as close as you can to your chest without straining.
- Slowly lower your knee.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Do 40 reps if possible, Remember, everyone’s body is different. So, if you feel strain at any time, try lower knee raises or just stop altogether.
Knee raises can be done while watching tv, at the office, or even if you have a handicap and have to be seated. Have fun Sculpting!
