How to Create an ISO Disk Image
An ISO image is the replica of an existing file system. This image can include the whole contents of a DVD/CD. The program that will be used allows the users to convert the extracted contents into an ISO image that can burn the exact contents into a DVD again. This DVD is similar in all aspects to the original.
Step 1: Open a Burning ROM program(Like Nero, isoDvd etc)
Step 2: Close the initial introduction screen, we will not require that in this exercise.
Step 3: On the Menu toolbar, click on ‘Recorder’ or similar option.
Step 4: In Recorder Drop down list, click on ‘copy disc’.
Step 5: In the ‘image’ tab, choose the location where you want your ISo file to be saved.
Step 6: In the ‘copy options’ tab, choose your drive(in which the disc to be copied has been inserted)
Step 7: Click on OK. The process will begin.
Step 8: Close the window once the process has been completed. Your ISO file is now ready at the location you specified!
This is how to make an ISO file, surprisingly easy, wasn’t it!! Now your iso file is ready to be mounted into a software like Daemon or written into another dvd.
