A lot of people in the world are very serious about their photography. That means they buy the top of the line products with the best attachments in order to get the best shots. The issue is a lot of them are inexperienced when it comes to cleaning their lens. If you do not have a clean lens your picture just will not turn out as good as it would if you did. I am here to teach you how to safely and properly clean your camera lens.
- Somehow acquire a eyeglass lens cleaning cloth. Cleaning the lens on your camera is essentially the same thing as cleaning glasses lenses.
- Remove the camera lens from your camera if it is attached. If you do not have attachments for your camera and it is just the original lens on the camera you want to clean skip this step.
- Fill a little squirt bottle all the way up with water.
- Gently spray the water on to the lens on your camera. Make sure not to get the water anywhere else but the camera lens. If you do it could result in the damaging of your camera. Gently rub in circles on the camera lens with the eyeglass cloth causing the water to clean it. Afterward, get a paper towel or some kind of towel and wipe the water off of the lens.
- If you have a lens attachment follow the previous step to cleaning it.
- Put the lens back on your camera and test how clean it is by taking a few pictures and seeing how good the quality is. It should look a lot clearer than what it did before you cleaned your lenses.
If you completely follow this guide you will be able to expertly clean your camera lenses any time you need to. It is always good to remember to clean them at least once a week because you never want your picture quality to get worse. If done right no harm should come to the camera, you should just end up with sparkling clean lenses. I hope this guide helped you and good luck!
